The Farmers' Market has been in operation since late 2001 and regularly has around 30 stalls. The market is focused on food and stallholders offer a wide variety of meat, fish and vegetables as well as more exotic items and a range of baking and prepared foods.

Markets are held on the second Sunday of each month throughout the year except November when it is held on the third Sunday.

We have now introduced crafts onto this market and you find stall holders selling bedding and household linen, photographs of yorkshire, natural interior design products for home and garden and many more iteresting items. You are also able to purchase plants for the home and garden.

Coffee and plenty to eat is the order of the day and you find the atmosphere very relaxing. You are sure to enjoy your time visiting the various stalls and enjoying the sights and sounds of Wetherby.

The market is open from 8.30 and stall holders start to clear away their goods at about 1.00 pm. The market is situated around the Town Hall in the centre of Wetherby.

The markets will be held as normal whilst the Market Place Improvements Scheme around the Town Hall is being completed but you may find that the stalls will all be moved to different sides as the work progresses. This scheme is due to be completed by the beginning of April, 2007.

Please do continue to supprt the markets and the shops in the market place during this period of upheaval; they are vital for the continual growth of this Market Town.

East Sunday
The Farmers maket in April falls on Sunday Sunday so this has been moved to the following weekend. The April Farmers Market will now be held on Sunday, April, 15th.
