Wetherby Air Cadets

Wetherby Air Cadets, part of the largest uniformed youth organisation in the UK, meets in its own building on Barleyfields Road in Wetherby on Mondays and Thursdays 7.30pm to 9.30 pm.

Membership is open to all young people aged 13-17 and offers a variety of exciting and educational activities centered on aviation, the RAF, outdoor activities and building leadership in young people.

The aims of the Air Training Corp are:

• To encourage among young men and women a practical interest in aviation and the Royal Air Force
• To provide training which will be useful both in the Services and civilian life
• To foster the spirit of adventure
• To develop qualities of leadership and good citizenship.
