Wetherby and District Camera Club

The club welcomes photographers of all abilities and experience to its meetings held each Tuesday in the Church Rooms. The programme for 2010 - 2011 begins on September 7th at 7:30. Throughout the season members enjoy talks by visiting speakers, practical sessions, internal and external competitions and social activities. The club aims to help all those interested in photography develop their own work and learn more of this fascinating hobby.

The local branch of Specsavers has generously sponsored the club for the last 2 seasons. As a result of which the club was able to mount a second celebrity lecture in March 2010 and arranged a landscape workshop for members in the Spring of 2010. A third celebrity lecture has been arranged for March 2011 featuring the nationally known natural history photographer, Chris Weston.

A display of members' work will be mounted in the window of Wetherby Library from September 13th until September 20th and more examples of members' images will be displayed at the club's annual exhibition and coffee morning in Wetherby Town Hall on September 18th, 2010.

More information including many galleries of members' images can be found on the club's web site or by emailing the club at info@wetherbycameraclub.co.uk.
