Wetherby Speakers Club was founded 1978, and is part of The Association of Speakers Clubs, an organisation formed to help people develop and improve their communication skills.

We promote the art of effective speaking through practice and constructive feedback within the friendly and relaxed atmosphere of the club rather than through classroom lecturing.

We draw upon the experience of our members (who have all felt the fear of speaking in public themselves!) to advise, coach and encourage newer members.

So if you want to learn to speak with confidence in public, then Wetherby Speakers Club is for you.

We meet on alternative Thursday evenings at 7.45 pm for 8 pm at The Days Inn Hotel, Junction 46 Services, A1M. You are assured of a warm welcome and can come along to observe a meeting or two as a guest with no obligation.
