Code of Conduct

As a result of the Localism Act 2011 the Town Council was required to adopt a new Code of Conduct, setting out the standards expected of Councillors which are based on the Nolan Principles "The Seven Principles of Public Life". The Council adopted a new Code of Conduct in May 2021 which is based on one produced by the Local Government Association and which has also been adopted by Leeds City Council.

Councillors are required to register any interests that they have in the parish - for example land or property that they own or rent. These registers are kept and maintained by Leeds City Council and can be viewed on their website.
